เครื่องทดสอบการเร่งการเสื่อมอายุและความต้านทานความร้อน หรือที่รู้จักกันในชื่อว่า Geer Type Aging Oven โดยส่วนมากจะใช้ในกลุ่มการทดสอบวัสดุประเภทพลาสติกและยาง ซึ่งในนิยามนั้น เครื่องนี้จะมีการทำงานที่แตกต่างจากเครื่องทดสอบตู้อบร้อน (Heating oven) โดยการทำงานของระบบจะนำเรื่องอัตราการไหลของอากาศเข้ามาเป็นปัจจัยในการเร่งการเสื่อมอายุของชิ้นงาน และใช้อุณหภูมิที่สูงเพื่อทดสอบความทนทานของวัสดุในการต้านทานความร้อน

- ทดสอบเพื่อจำลองสภาวะ เพื่อเร่งการเสื่อมอายุของวัสดุที่ทดสอบ และความต้านทานความร้อนของวัสดุ
- ตัวเครื่องจะทำงานในระบบปิด เพื่อให้เกิดการจำลองสภาวะในการเร่งเสื่อมอายุของชิ้นงาน (close mechanism)
- กำหนดอัตราความเร็วของอากาศเพื่อให้ไหลเข้าสู่ตู้ทดสอบ พร้อมกับบันทึกค่า Ventilation rate
- ระบบเปิด-ปิด อากาศไหลเข้า-ออก แบบอัตโนมัติ (option)
- มีชุดจับชิ้นงานแบบหมุมรอบตัวเอง (rotation specimen rack) พร้อมกับกำหนดความเร็วได้
