เครื่องทดสอบความยืดหยุ่นของวัสดุด้วยแรงบิดแบบ Clash-berg เป็นการทดสอบหาความแข็งของวัสดุเมื่ออยู่ในสภาวะอุณหภูมิต่ำ โดยใช้แรงบิด (torsion) เมื่อผ่านไป 3 นาที โดยระหว่าง 3 นาทีนั้น น้ำจะเพิ่มอุณหภูมิขึ้น เมื่อครบ 3 นาทีแล้ว จะทำการวัดค่าความแข็งของวัสดุ (rigidity coefficient) โดยนำค่าวัดมุมที่ทำการบิดได้ มาคำนวณหาค่าความแข็งแรงของวัสดุ (torsional stiffness)
